It's official!
This past weekend I was awarded the European Photographer (EP) qualification after a series of my architectural & interior photos was judged by a jury of my peers.
The European Photographer (EP) is a Europe-wide qualification for professional quality photography, it aims to recognise competence and a professional quality standard for Professional Photographers. The EP is a professional quality assurance certification, presented by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP).
Today I received my 3 FEP awards from the hands of the FEP President, Jørgen Brandt.
I won these 3 FEP awards with my series of architectural photos in one of the most important professional photography competitions of this moment, the "European Professional Photographer of the Year Awards". The award ceremony was held in the beautiful town of Gmunden, Austria by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP), during the "Gmunden Fototage".
This post is a continuation of the Blue Mountain wrap-up.
As previously mentioned, I booked a quick trip to Canada last month and ended up staying in Blue Mountain and Toronto, Ontario. Having never been to either destinations I must admit it are definitely 2 places I will return to one day. In this part I will list up some of things in Toronto.
Start by downloading the See Toronto app. This is a very useful application that provides tips on things to see and do including easy-to-search event, dining, attractions and shopping listings, as well as the distance from your location to the spot.

As Blue Mountain is the only real ski resort in close proximity of Toronto it is definitely a busy weekend destination, good thing I arrived after the weekend and left just before the next weekend. 2 very important facts about this resort:What a year it has been so far. After being featured on the PFRE-site, I finally dared to enter a photo (see above) to the PFRE Photographer of the Month contest for the very first time and believe it or not I won. I am the first Belgian ever to win the contest.
For those that aren't familiar with PFRE, this means Photography For Real Estate, the website receives on average between 50.000 and 60.000 visitors a month. It is probably the biggest
So this was one of the first long exposure shots I captured in Paris, France in 2011. It cost me € 8.596,70 to take this photo and it has gotten close to 50.000 views since then.
