Over Nick
Nick De Clercq is een bekroond fotograaf uit Gent, België, gespecialiseerd in architectuur-, interieur-, landschaps- en reisfotografie.
Hij begon zijn carrière met het fotograferen van luxewoningen in zijn thuisstad, en breidde zijn portfolio al snel uit met projecten in heel Europa en daarbuiten.
Zijn toewijding aan het vak is consequent erkend door vooraanstaande internationale beroepsorganisaties:
In 2014 werd Nick een van de jongste Europeanen—en destijds de jongste Belg—die de titel Qualified European Photographer (QEP) behaalde. Deze onderscheiding, toegekend door de Federation of European Photographers (FEP), erkent uitmuntendheid in professionele fotografie in heel Europa.
In 2015 behaalde hij een officiële accreditatie als professioneel fotograaf bij de Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), nadat zijn architectuurwerk werd beoordeeld door een panel van experts. In 2016 herhaalde hij dit succes, ditmaal met een reeks reisfotografie.
In 2023 werd Nick bekroond met de titel Craftsman of Photographic Arts (CPA) door de PPOC—een eer die niet alleen fotografische vaardigheid erkent, maar ook een blijvende inzet voor het vak en steun aan de fotografiegemeenschap.
Bij elk project combineert Nick technische precisie, creatieve visie en een scherp oog voor detail, wat resulteert in beelden die zowel de schoonheid van design als de essentie van een plek vastleggen.

Nick’s fotografie is wereldwijd gepubliceerd en onder de aandacht gebracht, in media die variëren van architectuur en design tot lifestyle en reizen.
Zijn werk verscheen in Arquitectura y Diseño (Spanje), BMW Magazine (België), Buzzfeed en CNBC (VS), GG Magazine en HERITAGE Magazin (Duitsland), Marie Claire Maison (Frankrijk), Lonely Planet (VS) en PF Magazine (Nederland).
In België werden zijn beelden gepubliceerd in Sabato, dS Magazine, Home & Trends, Het Nieuwsblad/De Gentenaar en Look-Out Lifestyle Magazine.
Zijn fotografie werd daarnaast uitgelicht door internationale platforms zoals ISO 500px (Canada), Photography For Real Estate (VS) en Zoom.nl (Nederland), evenals door toeristische organisaties zoals Nova Scotia Tourism (Canada).
