Bangkok Wrap Up

This week, I returned from a 2 week trip to Bangkok, Thailand. My very first time flying to Asia and I must admit that it was a great first introduction to the continent. Off course you have to look past the smog and the extremely busyness of the city, but the culture and the friendliness of the people is almost unmatched and a breath of fresh air when living in Europe.

1. Things to see

First things first, if someone walks up to you and tells you that the monument or temple is closed this is a LIE. These are scammers trying to take you to places where you don't want to go, just keep walking to the entrance and you will see that it is open. Having this important warning out-of-the-way we can continue with the list. Without a doubt you have to go and visit the historic center and it's temples. My top places you should try to visit when you are there are:

Paris Wrap Up

Last week I returned from my trip to Paris, France. It was supposed to be a trip of a week, but unfortunately my grandfather passed away and I had to return home.

Nova Scotia Wrap Up

These past 3 weeks, I was in Nova Scotia, Canada. A great place to go and unwind and photograph the vast nature that is still present. While Nova Scotia might seem,  to most travelers outside of Canada, as a province with nothing to do, but it is home to 2 national parks, one of the most beautiful trails in the world and the Bay of Fundy that has the highest tidal range in the world. Nova Scotia also has the highest number lighthouses of any province in Canada, which is amazing as it is the second smallest province of Canada.

1. Lighthouses to see

As Nova Scotia has the most lighthouses in Canada, you certainly have to go out and visit some of the most notable lighthouses.

European Photographer (EP)

It's official! This past weekend I was awarded the European Photographer (EP) qualification after a series of my architectural & interior photos was judged by a jury of my peers.

The European Photographer (EP) is a Europe-wide qualification for professional quality photography, it aims to recognise competence and a professional quality standard for Professional Photographers. The EP is a professional quality assurance certification, presented by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP).

3 FEP Awards

Today I received my 3 FEP awards from the hands of the FEP President, Jørgen Brandt.
I won these 3 FEP awards with my series of architectural photos in one of the most important professional photography competitions of this moment, the "European Professional Photographer of the Year Awards". The award ceremony was held in the beautiful town of Gmunden, Austria by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP), during the "Gmunden Fototage".
