About Nick

Nick De Clercq is an award-winning photographer based in Ghent, Belgium, specializing in architectural, interior, landscape, and travel photography. He began his career photographing luxury properties in his hometown, quickly expanding his portfolio to include projects across Europe and abroad.

His dedication to the craft has been consistently recognized by leading professional photography associations:

  • In 2014, Nick became one of the youngest Europeans—and the youngest Belgian at the time—to receive the title of Qualified European Photographer (QEP). This distinction, awarded by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP), recognizes excellence in professional photography across Europe.

  • In 2015, he earned accreditation as a professional photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) after his architectural work was judged by a panel of experts. He repeated this achievement in 2016, this time with a series of his travel photography.

  • In 2023, Nick was awarded the designation of Craftsman of Photographic Arts (CPA) by the PPOC—an honour that recognizes not only proven photographic ability, but also a commitment to advancing the profession and supporting the photographic community.

Across every project, Nick combines technical precision, creative vision, and an eye for detail, producing work that captures both the beauty of design and the essence of place.
