About Nick

Nick De Clercq is a photographer specialising in architectural, interior, landscape, and travel photography. Beginning his career shooting luxury properties in his hometown of Ghent, Belgium, his range quickly evolved and branched out to other areas of photography.

Along the way, Nick and his work have been recognised and awarded. As one of the youngest Europeans, and youngest Belgian, Nick was awarded the qualification of Qualified European Professional Photographer (QEP) in 2014, after a series of his architectural work was judged by an international jury of 5 peers. The QEP recognises and rewards excellence in European Professional Photographers, and is presented by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP).

Nick also became an accredited professional photographer with the PPOC in Canada after a series of his architectural work was judged by a jury of 3 in 2015 and got accredited once again in 2016 after a series of his travel work was judged.

In 2023 Nick achieved his designation of Craftsman in the Photographic Arts (CPA) with the PPOC. These are honours bestowed upon members by the Professional Photographers of Canada and denote proven photographic ability and commitment to the advancement of professional photography, as well as service to the Association.

Since 2012, Nick is a member of the Nationale Vereniging van Beroepsfotografen (NVB) and the Federation of European Photographers (FEP).
